In this case, Bill Parker could rally support in opposition of the merger by pointing out several negative inequities within this merger such as the loss of financial stability and the overshadowing of the opera by the symphony. This could be seen as positive inequities to the symphony because they are gaining access to extra funding to further boost them to become a tier-one arts organization, but will not be viewed as fair by those involved with the opera as they will be forced to support another organization with their money.
